letmeet
Language: English (Australia)
  1. Account data includes your name, email, login-provider identifier, age acknowledgement, sessions and device public keys. Servers also receive connection data such as IP addresses. Google and Apple login provide identity information; we do not request your contacts or calendars.

  2. We use this information to provide accounts and meetups, deliver login links, secure the service and answer support requests. Sharing location, photos, camera or microphone access is optional and controlled through your device permissions. Optional on this device. Share weekly totals for recognised chat-link categories with letmeet’s admin. No URLs, page text or account IDs are sent. Totals expire after 90 days. Turning this off deletes unsent totals; already combined totals cannot be removed individually.

  3. Meetup content is encrypted end to end. Account and delivery metadata remain accessible to the service. Invited participants can read content shared with them and may save copies. A shared poll or invitation link should be treated as private.

  4. Sessions expire after 30 days and email login links after 15 minutes. Meetup content expires 1–7 days after the meetup starts, as chosen by its administrator. Current location updates expire within 90 seconds. Account details remain until account deletion; deletion is processed across services. Copies already delivered to participants may remain until meetup expiry; downloaded copies cannot be recalled.

  5. We use login providers you select and service providers needed for hosting and email delivery. Recipients include authorised meetup participants. The final provider list, processing countries, transfer safeguards, and log and backup retention will be published before launch; they are not yet confirmed.

  6. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion, and portability or objection where applicable. You can delete your account in the app and withdraw optional permissions in device settings. You may complain to your competent data-protection authority, including the Swiss FDPIC. We may need to verify your identity to handle a request.

  7. The website uses a necessary login cookie, language preferences and browser storage for encryption keys and encrypted local data. Signing out ends the session but can retain encrypted device data for later use. Clearing browser storage requires linking the device again. The current implementation has no advertising or analytics trackers.
